After the success of their jazz adaptations of Pierre et le Loup and Carnaval Jazz des Animaux, the 17 musicians of the Amazing Keystone Big Band continue their adventure to educate audiences, young and adults, about jazz in all its expressions through a new show, Monsieur Django & Lady Swing: a sparkling musical tale, told with panache by Guillaume Gallienne, entirely created around the music of one of the best jazz guitarists of his time, Django Reinhardt.
To create this musical tale, the Amazing Keystone Big Band arranged Django Reinhardt's best songs for large jazz orchestras, originally designed, for the most part, for a very small number of instruments.
At the head of their orchestra, trumpeter David Enhco, saxophonist Jon Boutellier, trombonist Bastien Ballaz and pianist Fred Nardin offer three ways to discover this new musical tale - Monsieur Django and Lady Swing.
