Psychedelic Folk Rock, Female Vocal | Label: Oldays Records
First CD release of a hidden masterpiece of British Folk Rock by a US Folk singer who was active in the UK! The first 12 tracks are the first CD release of "Flowers" (5th album in total), released in 1967. The latter 12 tracks are all from "Live In Concert," a live recording made at Fairfield Hall in 1966. (The original recording was by Philips, but in some cases it has been left out of her discography because it was released by a low-priced mail-order label.) This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy two different sides of her at once: her pure folk-singing style in her solo concerts and her colorful folk-rock style with psychedelic arrangements.
