Keith Jarrett - Sun Bear Concerts Piano Solo [6 SHM SACD Box Set, Numbered] (2025) SACD

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the birth of the genius pianist Keith Jarrett, the six-disc masterpiece “Sun Bear Concert,” recorded in Japan, is being released for the first time on SACD-SHM!
This six-disc box set contains recordings of the solo piano concert performed in Japan in 1976, accompanied by producer Manfred Eicher.
Out of the eight performances, five—Kyoto (Kyoto Kaikan Hall), Osaka (Sankei Hall), Nagoya (Aichi Cultural Hall), Tokyo (Nakano Sun Plaza), and Sapporo (Kosei Nenkin Hall)—are each featured on a separate disc, while the sixth disc compiles the encore performances from Sapporo, Tokyo, and Nagoya.
