Madonna - Erotica (1992) CD-Rip

Erotica is the fifth studio album by American singer Madonna, released on October 19, 1992, through Maverick and Sire Records. The album was released simultaneously with Madonna's first book, Sex, an album of nude photographs of the singer, and was her first release under Maverick, her own multimedia entertainment company. The album featured Shep Pettibone and André Betts, with whom she had worked on the 1990 albums Vogue and The Immaculate Collection. In mid-1991, Pettibone sent Madonna a three-track demo; she listened to the songs and liked them all. The two men then met in New York City to begin working on more music. The singer overwrote the melodies and lyrics over music that had been remixed by Pettibone. Erotica is known as a concept album about sex and romance during the HIV/AIDS era, with songs that address "heavy" topics such as S&M and homophobia. It also departed from the dance-oriented sound of Madonna's previous work, which incorporated elements of hip hop, house, techno, and new jack swing.
