Koto - Collection MP3 (1983-2015)

The project originated in the early 1980's. Koto was first an Italian synth group, founded by Anfrando Majoli and Stefano Cundari ( and recorded at Memory Records (Italy). Together they released several tracks such as Visitors, Dragon s Legend Jabdah, Chinese Revenge and. In 1989, the German record label ZYX Music bought rights to all Memory Records catalogue, including the rights to the music of "Koto" and the name. Also they are requested (it is known from Laserdance project) to Michael van der Kay (eng. Michiel van der Kuy), so he re-recorded and mixed some of the old Koto tracks.

The result of this process was the Masterpieces album that contains re-mixed versions of the tracks Majoly along with three new songs, entirely composed by Michiel van der Kai. In 1990, Anfrando majola came back with the song's Champion'Cue, but the single is not gained great popularity. Michel van der Kai later recorded four Koto albums. All of them became today classics, known to every fan of SpaceSynth music.
